Supreme governing body of EMDS is the General Assembly of the organization.
The General Assembly is elected by members of EMDS every two years. According to the Statutes of EMDS, the General Assembly elects members of the Executive Board and Revision Commission, as well as chairman of the organization.
The General Assembly is also the sole body to approve the Strategic Action Program of EMDS and amendments to its Statutes.
Executive Board of EMDS is elected every two years and oversees current activities of the organization. Chairman of EMDS is elected from amongst the members of Executive Board and undertakes general leadership of the organization.
Chairman of EMDS is responsible for execution of the decisions of General Assembly and Executive Board, management of the Strategic and Annual action programs, as well as implementation of projects.
Chairman of EMDS officially represents the organization.
